I created dance with powerful stillness and imagery evocative of Asian paintings and architecture. My latest work for Complexions “Goodnight” takes it’s inspiration from a famed 15th century painting, “Dream Journey to the Peach Blossom Land” created in the early Korean Joseon period by celebrated landscape painter, An Gyeon. The painting depicts a utopian world, shrouded in beauty and tranquility that acts as a muse my choreography.
